Caesar Guerini have stepped away from their usual traditional aesthetic with their latest competition shotgun, the Invictus ARTCO.
All Caesar Guerini shotguns are 100% Italian made, and with the Invictus ARTCO they took the proven Invictus sporting model and set out to create a new grade that would offer something completely unique without compromising on the attributes that make it so popular. Caesar Guerini usually make guns that have a traditional look to them, however for the Invictus ARTCO the frame was given a contemporary look. Master engraver Dario Cortini from the famous engraving house Bottega C. Giovanelli arranged red enamel accents with multi-toned textures in an abstract composition.
The Invictus ARTCO is available in two models: a sporting clays version, and an Ascent Version. Both models have a high grade Turkish walnut stock with a hand rubbed oil finish, and are available in both right and left-handed versions. Competition Maxis Chokes come as standard on these 12 bore over-and-under shotguns with a white spherical bead fitted to the end of the rib.
The sporting clays model is available with 28”, 30”, 32” and 34” barrels, with weights starting from 3.75 kg (8lbs 4oz).
As with other Ascent models in the Caesar Guerini lineup, the Invictus ARTCO Ascent features a 10mm high fixed rib and Monte Carlo stock. This allows for a more upright shooting posture whilst still retaining the instinctive pointing qualities of a flat-rib sporting clays gun that is comfortable to shoot in either a pre-mounted or gun-down shooting style. It is available with 30” or 32” barrels, and with weights starting from 3.9kg (8lbs 9oz).
