About Dedito Boots
Dario Martina initially started out selling the Italian brand of Diotto outdoor boots as a hobby. Soon he realised that there was demand for outdoor boots specifically developed for the UK’s demanding terrain. In 2014, after talking to several gamekeepers, Dario had a meeting in Italy to discuss the possibilities of creating the ultimate performance boot that could tackle the UK’s moorlands, wetlands, rocks, wet grassland and everything in-between. It was at this point that he decided to introduce the original boot, the Moorland, under the brand name Dedito (which was inspired by the name of his first Weimaraner).
Dedito boots are now a firm favourite with beaters, guns, gamekeepers, walkers, gundog trainers, stalkers and all sorts of other field sports enthusiasts.
The Dedito Luca
The Luca has been designed to fit between the popular Moorland and Dodi models; it is the perfect mid-height solution coming in at 23 centimetres tall. The excellent ankle support provided by this model makes them the perfect choice for challenging terrain.
It is made from a single piece of soft Italian nubuck leather, which has an easy clean, protective PU coating in a smooth contemporary weave pattern. Certain areas of stitching are orange which provides an eye-catching contrast and ties in well with the dual coloured Vibram sole.
Water is kept out of the boot by a clever folded tongue and looped lacing system, and the innovative Windtex waterproof breathable membrane will keep your feet at the right temperature whatever the weather.
This Luca is a versatile all-round boot that strikes a perfect balance between wearability, comfort, support and durability.
