Craftsmanship is at the heart of Purdey’s business and its artisans have worked tirelessly to bring their craft and vision into customers’ hands through this new platform.
You can choose to build your own game gun or sporting clays gun (either a single, pair, trio or quad set) in the configurator and can specify all of the following:
- Bore,
- Shooting hand,
- Barrel length,
- Chamber length,
- Rib type,
- Rib finish,
- Chokes,
- Whether you desire extra barrels,
- An automatic or manual safety catch,
- The trigger configuration,
- Whether you need an extra trigger group (ideal for heavy volume shooting),
- Potential walnut figuring and styles (you will be able to pick the final blank, however this gives you an idea as to what is available),
- The butt end finish (checkered, rubber or leather covered),
- Stock finish,
- Engraving type,
- Engraving type face and style for the makers name on the action and barrels,
- Whether the serial number on the guard would be inlaid in gold or not,
- Whether the word ‘Safe’ on the safety should be inlaid in gold or not,
- The size and material of the oval, and the font style of your initials,
- What finish you would like the furniture and action to have.
