Some of you may have days booked, and others may just dream of having them booked. Either way, here are our top videos from around the web to get you even more excited for the Glorious Twelfth.
Driven grouse shooting really started to take off in the mid-19th century when the Victorians built railways making it easier to travel to moors. Trains enabled shooters to travel with all of their equipment with relative ease and comfort.
Britain is the only place in the world where red grouse can be found and 75% of the world’s heather moorland is also found here. A study carried out by the GWCT found that grouse shooting on 140 “core” grouse estates in Scotland is likely to support a total of 493 jobs, £6.7 million worth of wages and contributes £10.7 million to GDP.
