Since the release of the CZ 457 a few years ago, Timney Triggers received numerous calls from customers to make a replacement trigger for the rifle. Timney Triggers state themselves that the standard trigger that comes not he CZ 457 “is pretty good”, however they wanted to make it the best that it could be as they “believe in turning good into better, and better into best”.
TImney Triggers was established in 1946 by Allen Timney as he saw the need for easy-to-install, single-stage triggers for shooting enthusiasts who were sporterizing military rifles in the post-WWII era. Over the years Timney Triggers has became the company that set the standard in aftermarket triggers. By listening to their customers and innovating Timney Triggers now produces over 170 models of triggers.
The Timney Trigger replacement trigger unit for the CZ 457 is designed to be robust, user-friendly, adjustable for pull weight and over travel, yet delicate enough to be set with a pull weight as low as 10 ounces or up to 2 pounds. It comes in two options of trigger type, either curved or straight. Every part of the trigger is machined using state-of-the-art technology. Timney Triggers’ CZ 457 replacement trigger features their new Sear Engagement Adjustment Lock design (SEAL’d) that ensures a user-friendly experience.
The trigger’s sear and trigger shoe are precision-machined, heat treated to 56 Rockwell with a black oxide trigger coating and an NP-3 coated sear for maximum lubricity and a lifetime of reliable performance. The CZ 457 trigger is backed by the Timney No Hassle, Lifetime Warranty.
