The Stambecco is the new and much anticipated lightweight walking boot by Brandecosse that is suited to varied terrains and conditions.
The Trueman family know a thing or two about manufacturing waterproof footwear, they started Brandecosse in 2008, however they have been involved in the industry since 1985! Their knowledge is so vast that even some of the most established premium brands in the country market turn to them for technical product engineering and commercial advice.
Brandecosse have been developing The Stambecco for almost a year. Standing at 6.5 inches tall and weighing-in at only 1.25kg/pair these are great all-rounder boots. Thanks to the perfect balance that Brandecosse have struck between wearability, rigidity and durability they promise to be a performer in varied condition and terrains.
The upper is made from 2mm thick hydrophobic full grain Italian leather which has been lined with a fully waterproof and breathable Sympatex® H20 lining. The Stambecco has a rubber toe cap to reduce wear from any tough terrain that you might encounter; a detail that was first seen added to The Cervo Rosso boots after grouse keepers and stalkers asked for added protection.
The Vibram® Winkler sole will provide you with high levels of traction and wear resistance. This sole features semi-blocked lugs towards the toe to provide a large surface area for frontal grip, while wider and deeper mud releasing lugs provide traction in muddy terrains, grass and mosses. A shock absorbing micro midsole has been combined with a removable leather lined memory foam insole to provide lasting comfort on long walks and reliable stability.
To ensure that the fit is adaptable and with maximum grip there is a padded suede collar and lacing system that extend down to the toe. The lacing system includes locking eyelets for a secure fit.
