The Leatherman ARC is the first-ever multi-tool to include a premium CPM MagnaCut steel knife blade.
CPM MagnaCut steel is a premium stainless steel that has been designed specifically for knife blades – it has been labelled as the next big breakthrough in knife steels (you can read more about how Dr. Larrin Thomas, a professional metallurgist, designed the steel HERE). MagnaCut maintains a sharp edge, is easy to sharpen, and has excellent corrosion resistance and toughness properties. The 2.76 inch (7.02 centimetre) knife blade also has a DLC coating to further enhance its corrosion resistance properties. All of this adds up to a knife that is perfect to use in the harshest of environments as well as for everyday tasks.
Also included in the ARC’s arsenal of tools is a bit driver which was highly requested by Leatherman users. Each of the ARC’s features can be opened smoothly with one hand thanks to the FREE® technology. With the exception of the pliers, all of the blades and tools on the body of the handle will lock into place, allowing you to use all safely and effectively.
With 20 tools, a removable pocket clip, a four-pocket nylon sheath, and eight double-ended bits, the durable, practical ARC sets the standard for premium multi-tools.
