The newly revamped Benelli Montefeltro Black is great all-rounder shotgun, excellent value for money, and is set to remain a firm favourite in the Benelli range.
The ergonomic stock and forend of this semi-automatic shotgun have been completely redesigned to not only ensure an easy and secure grip, but also to provide excellent control of the gun. The receiver has also been redesigned for impeccable balance and targeting as well as easy activation of the operating buttons.
The Easy Loading system helps with loading and unloading cartridges thanks to the bevelled loading port, whilst the advanced bolt closure system guarantees maximum reliability and safety as it is designed to be anti-bounce. This significantly limits accidental retraction of the mechanism and is easily closed to ensure the shotgun is ready to fire.
The front of the trigger guard has a Cartridge Drop Lever that allows you to eject an unfired cartridge from the chamber without auto feeding the next cartridge from the magazine. The pistol grip and safety to the rear of the trigger guard have been revised and now have an enlarged shape thereby making it more accessible and the activation more natural to ensure maximum fluidity and speed when shooting.
The ergonomic technopolymer forend has also been redesigned and thanks to the AirTouch checkering (which is also present on the stock) it provides a natural grip in any situation you may find yourself shooting in. Not only do the small spheres of the AirTouch checkering provide added grip but they also ensure your hand can ‘breathe’ reducing the likelihood of the surface becoming slippy due to sweat, etc..
