Norma ECOSTRIKE Lead-Free Rifle Bullets

The Norma ECOSTRIKE bullets offer the latest in lead-free bullet technology. This monolithic bullet is tough, penetrates well, and has great weight retention and accuracy.

Norma was founded in 1902 by the Enger brothers from Oslo, Norway. One of the brothers was extremely keen on the opera by Bellini entitled Norma, and so the company bears the same name. Originally the brothers had set up the  Norma Projektilfabrik A/S company in Norway, however the Swedish shooting movement needed a supplier in Sweden and so a request was made to the brothers to set up in Sweden (at this time both Norway and Sweden were part of a union). The brothers took a train to Sweden and set up their business in Åmotfors, 20 kilometres from the border with Norway. Today Norma manufactures approximately 30 million cartridges in more than 100 calibers each year.

The lead-free ECOSTRIKE bullet is made up of a pure copper core that has been nickel plated. This proprietary coating eliminates copper fouling and also increases the life of your barrel. The polymer tip assists with expansion on impact and decreases drag, whilst the cavity behind this tip has been optimised for guaranteed expansion, even at low velocities. The waist of the bullet has been designed to maximise velocity, and the boat tail has been designed for increased ballistic coefficient and maximum wind resistance.

The Norma ECOSTRIKE is available loaded in the following calibres:
