GAIM have released two new products: the Arex Delta Handgun and the GAIM Trigger Generation 2 unit.
The GAIM VR shooting simulator gives hunters and marksmen the ability to practice in immersive environments in an authentic and entertaining way. Using the GAIM weapon systems and a Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headset you can virtually practice shooting with a rifle, shotgun and now a handgun wherever you are. This system is an ideal way to build muscle memory and get ‘Ready for reality’.
GAIM Trigger Generation 2 Unit
The new GAIM Trigger Gen 2 unit is a modular unit that can be moved between both the GAIM Wooden Rifle and the new Area Delta Handgun. GAIM are also looking to keep growing its portfolio of weapons that are able to use this trigger unit.
In addition to the new trigger being able to change between weapon types, the trigger mechanism itself has seen the following improvements:
- Adjustable trigger point,
- Visible LED for easier pairing,
- Easily accessible reset button.
If you are an existing GAIM owner, the GAIM Trigger Generation 2 unit fits into the same rifle as the Generation 1 trigger unit so you can easily upgrade your system.
Arex Delta Handgun
With some exceptions, owning and shooting a handgun has been banned in the UK so the Arex Delta Handgun may not be as applicable to UK shooters as the GAIM Wooden Rifle, however it will give you an opportunity to practice and enjoy shooting a pistol in a virtual reality world. For the Delta Arex handgun GAIM have developed SimPro® Sport Shooting, specifically designed for handgun practice together with the more competitive IPSC and GAIM of Steel scenarios.
In SimPro® Sport Shooting you can choose targets, shooting stances and distances. The IPSC and GAIM of Steel scenarios are a great way to test your skills and compete with friends.
