Perazzi High Tech (HT)
The Perazzi High Tech (HT) series line of shotguns is aimed at offering smoother handling and faster target acquisition. These shotguns share the renowned double locking system found in the MX8, featuring detachable triggers. Notably, the new action is 40 grams heavier and 2mm wider than its counterparts, offering enhanced stability and performance. The inclusion of a reverse 7mm x 10mm tapered rib enhances the sight picture for improved aiming.
Available in nine grades, including special series like HTX and HT2020, the HT range offers variants such as HT3 and HT5 with adjustable ribs (15mm and 25mm high) and adjustable stocks.
The standard HT frame comes in black with the High Tech logo engraved on the action sides. Additionally, customisation options allow for colouring of the logo and ‘P’ on the top lever, with a variety of colour choices available. Engraving and colouring of a nation’s flag on the action base are also possible.
The standard HT stock features a modern style with the High Tech logo laser-engraved into the stock, which can be modified upon request.
Barrels across all models are interchangeable, though fitting may require assistance from a gunsmith, particularly if rib types differ significantly.
Chambers come in 2 ½” (65mm), 2 ¾” (70mm), and 3” (76mm) Magnum, all ‘Superproofed’ for High Performance Steel Shot.
Choking options range from 0 (CYL) to 11 (X/Full) or multi-choke on one or both barrels, with the provision of reverse choking for specific game guns.
Ribs come in various dimensions and styles across models, including top rib options like 7mm x 7mm, 11mm x 7mm, 11mm x 11mm, and 7mm x 10mm (HT/HTS) with or without a 3mm tramline, along with low (4mm) and high (6mm) stepped ribs.
Detachable trigger groups offer versatile options, including spring types, adjustability, selectivity, auto-safe functions, and reversed firing sequences. Non-detachable trigger groups feature coil springs, selectivity on the safety catch, and options for auto-safe and reversed firing sequences.
Aftermarket spare set-back triggers are available in 5mm or 10mm set-back options.
