Mossberg 940 Pro Field

The 940 Pro Field semi-automatic shotgun by Mossberg is a versatile companion, primed for various hunting pursuits. Boasting a resilient gas system, corrosion-resistant internal components, and an adaptable stock design, it stands as a reliable tool for consistent target acquisition.

Internally, the shotgun features a robust gas system, enabling an impressive round count of up to 1,500 before necessitating cleaning. Noteworthy is the inclusion of corrosion-resistant elements, including a nickel boron-coated gas piston, magazine tube, and hammer/sear. The loading port is both enlarged and beveled, while the elevator is elongated for seamless operation. An anodised follower further enhances functionality.

Externally, the shotgun is equipped with an adjustable stock, providing a generous 1.25 inches of length-of-pull flexibility. Both the stock and streamlined forend are textured with Mossberg’s signature pattern, ensuring a secure grip.

Additional features include a quick-empty magazine release, adaptability for drop at comb and cast, Accu-Set choke tubes, and a hi-viz Compsight fibre optic front sight.
