Longthorne 'Britannica' Model 1002

The Longthorne ‘Britannica’ Model 1002 over-and-under shotgun embodies a classic design.

This shotgun is offered in 12, 16, 20, and 28 bores, and can also be manufactured as multi-barrel sets, providing adaptability for varied shooting needs.

Featuring a 3” chamber and high-performance steel proofing up to full choke with fixed chokes (or ½ choke if equipped with multi-chokes), the barrels come in lengths of 28”, 30”, or 32”.

The action of the shotgun is a true sidelock adorned with the ‘Rose & Scroll’ design, accompanied by a standard forend and an underlever release catch engraved in the same elegant style.

Enhancing its aesthetic appeal, the shotgun can be made with various forend wood styles, such as rounded, slim rounded, beavertail, and semi-beavertail. The trigger guard, a standard beaded trigger guard with an approximate 80mm tail, is also engraved in the ‘Rose & Scroll’ design, offering a refined look.

The top lever is engraved in the ‘Rose & Scroll’ pattern, complementing the overall design. It features a game rib (or can be made without a rib) and a meticulously crafted stock, tailored to fit the shooter’s requirements, available in straight hand, semi-pistol grip, pistol grip, Prince of Wales, and true left-handed configurations. The stock is crafted from top-grade walnut and includes a checkered heel..

The ‘Britannica’ Model 1002 comes with an English Malton leather gun slip and is 100% manufactured in Longthorne’s Northampton factory. Its patented barrel technology, constructed from a single piece of steel without soldered joints, is proofed for steel, ensuring reduced recoil and muzzle flip, along with a low-profile action for enhanced shooting comfort and control.
