The FAIR SLX 692 GOLD over-and-under shotgun is a testament to precision engineering and quality craftsmanship. Its critical components, including action bodies, trigger plates, iron fore-ends, and barrel extractors, are meticulously milled from forged steel ingots. This dedication to steel over alloy receivers is driven by customer preference for robustness and durability.

The action body, characterised by its slender profile, conceals internal batteries featuring a double safety notch for enhanced security. A single oversize block, measuring 30.50mm for 12 bore models, is firmly positioned on double lugs, providing a solid foundation for the shotgun.

The barrels, crafted from a special three-alloyed steel, undergo precision machining from bored bars. Internally chromed bores and chambers not only extend the lifespan but also augment corrosion resistance and optimise shot pattern distribution.

The SLX 692 GOLD version is distinguished by its meticulous finishing, exquisite engravings, and carefully selected walnut components. Fine-pitch laser checkering and a small brass oval embedded in the stock for engraving of initials are additional features that enhance its aesthetic appeal. This versatile shotgun is steel shot-proofed for 12 and 20 gauges, available in four classical gauges (12, 20, 28, and .410), with three configurations of scaled actions (12, 20, and 28 gauges).

SLX 692 GOLD models are equipped with ejectors and a selective golden single trigger (double triggers are available on demand). In all four gauges, the barrels come pre-fitted with interchangeable TECHNICHOKE® XP50 chokes. Notably, the 20 gauge models offer the unique feature of interchangeable 28 and .410 gauge barrels.

Fine-pitch laser checkering with a double grip pattern provides both practicality and an elegant aesthetic. For left-handed shooters, a dedicated version is available at an additional cost. It’s worth noting that only 12 and 20 bore models are steel shot proofed.
