Browning Ultra XS Pro Adjustable
The Browning Ultra XS Pro over-and-under shotgun represents a harmonious blend of performance and elegance.
At its core, this shotgun boasts a 10-year guaranteed receiver built on an indestructible forged steel action frame. Its wide flat bolt provides a robust lockup, offering locking surfaces three times larger than other systems. With chromed barrels and chambers, rust is never a concern, and maintenance remains hassle-free.
The barrel’s back-bored design brings three significant advantages: increased speed and penetration, improved patterning, and reduced recoil. Its generous bolt surface and oversized recoil areas contribute to exceptional longevity and strength, ensuring this shotgun’s reliability over the long term.
The Invector Plus Midas Extended chokes, known for their “Gold Band” tube, are extended to optimise choke tapers, excelling in both sporting and hunting applications
The Pro Fit adjustment system allows shooters to precisely position the comb to their preference and trim the drop and cast using the adjustment screw. Clearly visible markings eliminate guesswork when repositioning the comb after removal. For added balance and reduced felt recoil, the stock is counterweight-ready as an option. The pistol grip stock and trap forend are crafted out of grade 4 wood with an oiled finish.
To enhance shooting comfort, the Inflex II ultra-flexible recoil pad offers superior recoil absorption. Its unique design encourages a downward deviation of recoil forces, gently moving the stock away from the shooter’s face and mitigating recoil and upward motion. Four pad options (12mm, 20mm, 25mm, or 32mm) facilitate stock length adjustment.
Notably, in July 2019, Sam Green secured the FITASC World Sporting Clays Champion title with his ULTRA XS. This shotgun comes with eight Invector Titanium extended chokes, two spacers, three Inflex recoil pads, and three trigger shoes. The Ultra XS Pro Adjustable Comb features a clever weight and counterweight system for on-demand balance adjustment between the gunstock and barrel.
