Blaser F3 Vantage
The Vantage, the latest addition to Blaser’s esteemed F3 family, presents shooters with an enhanced experience characterised by swifter target acquisition and reduced neck and shoulder fatigue. These benefits are attributed to its notably higher rib and a meticulously coordinated stock. Additionally, the flat ramp angle extends peripheral vision, irrespective of clay height and target angles.
Designed for versatility, the F3 is equipped with the innovative Triplex® Bore Design. This feature optimises muzzle velocity, fosters a uniform shot pattern, and mitigates recoil. It boasts an innovative and flat forcing cone, promoting smooth shot stream entry into the cylindrical barrel with minimal deformation and pressure increase. Its “Overbore” internal diameter of 18.65mm and steel shot proofing (including magnum proofing) capabilities underscore its adaptability.
For left-handed shooters there is the option of left-handed stocks and/or left-handed locking levers.
The Blaser balancer system, a key feature of the F3, empowers shooters to customise their gun. Whether utilising swing-through, pull-away, maintained-lead, or move-mount-shoot techniques, the Blaser competition balancing system, comprising of stock and barrel balancers, offers flexibility. These balancers can be adjusted with weight cylinders, tailoring the shotgun’s feel to the shooter’s preference.
In addition to its adaptability, the F3 features a soft barrel closure, ensuring concentration remains solely on the target before the shot. The linear guidance of the striker and firing pin enables rapid ignition and optimal energy transfer.
Safety is paramount in the F3, as evidenced by its solid locking wedge and locking plate, ensuring a secure lock-up. This, combined with its low bore axis and high hinge pin placement, minimises strain on the locking mechanism, enhancing durability.
The F3’s trigger, a critical component of shooting accuracy, boasts an exceptionally short lock time of 1,400g and a crisp, glass-like break. Its location in front of the trigger, barrel selector, and adjustable trigger blade with customisable length of pull contribute to ideal finger placement.
Furthermore, the EBS® (Ejection Ball System) automates ejector activation and deactivation, preventing spring fatigue when stored and maintaining minimal resistance during closing.
The Inertial Block System (IBS®) guarantees against manual fan firing or doubling, offering the highest level of safety without compromising trigger characteristics or pull weight.
