This kit has been put together by Ian Sweetman of I.S. Sweetman Gun & Rifle Makers, an acclaimed gunmaker and award-winning finisher who previously worked with Atkin Grant & Lang Gunmakers, Wesley Richards & Co., and James Purdey and Sons.
Described as “a quality care and conditioning kit that enhances the natural grain, increases shine and adds a protective layer”, the Stock Care Kit is designed to condition your stock, creating a protective layer with waterproof properties. The natural grain of the wood will be enhanced and a luxurious shine added.
The kit comprises of the following: 30ml of stock wax, 30ml of silicone oil and cleaning patches. A full guide on how to use the product can be found on the website.
