The Härkila Footwear Collection has been upgraded with a complete redesign, European production, and clinical testing.
Härkila is known for hunting garments of exceptional quality. Two years ago the major decision was made for its footwear to achieve the same high quality as its hunting clothes. The first step in doing this was moving all production of boots to the E.U.. The next step was to completely redesign every single boot in the collection from the sole up and add new models (including great new styles for women) in close collaboration with industry-leading experts from Norway, the UK, and Italy.
The new design has extra reinforcement where wear is greatest, without compromising weight. All boots in the new Härkila Footwear Collection are now thoroughly tested in centrifuges at GORE-TEX’s German laboratories to ensure that they meet GORE-TEX’s demanding waterproofing standards. Every boot has a specially moulded, shock-absorbing sole, which, combined with a range of other improvements, significantly boosts comfort. All boots also come with a two-year warranty that covers you in the unlikely event of any material or manufacturing defects.
The Härkila Footwear Collection has been broken down into three categories that have been optimised for the following: breathability and minimal maintenance, versatility and extended wear, and winter and rough terrain.
Boots Optimised for Breathability and Minimal Maintenance
Atammik GTX boots
The Atammik GTX boots are made from extremely hardwearing Cordura which has the advantage over leather of being very quick drying and highly breathable. Despite the medium-length, 7 inch (18 centimetre), shaft these are some of the lightest boots in Härkila’s range. They feature the user-friendly UTURN lacing system, which makes them easy to put on and take off with the twist of a button. This system is guaranteed, so, in the unlikely event that the wire or reel were to fail, you can always have them replaced by one of Härkila’s authorised dealers.
These boots are built on a newly designed, slightly wider last. The GORE-TEX Sierra membrane ensure that the boots are waterproof whilst the reinforced stitching, nubuck reinforcements and full-length rands made from an extra robust material ensure that the boots are extremely hardwearing. The soles are a new, Italian-made, Eurosuole Firefox design for excellent grip.

Wildwood GTX boots
The Wildwood GTX boots are made from extremely hardwearing Cordura. This has the advantage over leather of being very quick drying and highly breathable, and also making these some of the lightest boots in the range at approximately 620 grams per boot. They have reinforced stitching and an extra robust material at the toe and heel making them extremely hardwearing. The GORE-TEX Sierra membrane ensures these boots are waterproof and the high-quality soles ensure good grip. They have a medium-length, 7 inch (18 centimetre) shaft and a standard-width last.

Wildwood GTX Women boots
The Wildwood GTX Women boots are a new version of the Wildwood boots for women. The improved standard-width last has been designed especially for the shape of women’s feet. These boots feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane and have a 6 inch (15 centimetre) shaft. The boot’s upper is made from extremely hardwearing Cordura with leather reinforcements, and the high- quality soles ensure good grip. They are reinforced with an extra robust material at the toe and heel, where wear is typically the greatest.

Pro Hunter Light Hi GTX boots
The Pro Hunter Light Hi GTX is made from extremely hardwearing Cordura, giving them the advantage of being low maintenance, lightweight, very quick drying and highly breathable when compared to leather. Thanks to the waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane and tall 10 inch (25 centimetre) shaft these boots will take swampy ground in their stride. They are also outstandingly comfortable, and have a medium-stiff Vibram® Aftersky sole that provides good grip and support.
Despite their height, the Pro Hunter Light Hi GTX boots weigh approximately 790 grams per boot, which makes them comfortable on long treks. They are reinforced with full-length rands made from an extra robust material and they have reinforced stitching.

Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX boots
The Pro Hunter Light Mid GTX boot is a mid-height boot with an 8 inch (20 centimetre) shaft made from an extremely hardwearing Cordura. Using Cordura has advantages over leather, namely low maintenance, high breathability, and the ability to dry quickly. The boots are also outstandingly comfortable due to their approximate weight of 730 grams (per boot), and semi-stiff Vibram® Aftersky soles that provides good grip and support. The Moose Hunter GTX boots are an improved version of Härkila’s popular Moose Hunter boots. The upper is made from extremely hardwearing polyester, which has the advantages of being low maintenance, lightweight (each boot only weighs approximately 790 grams), highly breathable and quick drying. The boots have a field-tested, waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane and, like the rest of the Moose Hunter range, feature Mossy Oak® Break-Up Country® camouflage.

Reidmar Mid GTX boots
The Reidmar Mid GTX oiled nubuck leather boots are robust, but surprisingly lightweight at approximately 640 grams per boot. They have a medium-length, 8 inch (20 centimetre) shaft and a standard-width last. The boots feature UTURN wire closures which allows you to tighten or loosen them with a couple turns of the button. This system is guaranteed, so, in the unlikely event that the wire or reel fails, you can have them replaced by one of Härkila’s authorised dealers.

Forest Hunter Mid GTX boots
The Forest Hunter Mid GTX boots are very durable, but surprisingly lightweight (weighing approximately 740 grams per boot), high-quality leather boots with reinforced stitching, outstanding comfort and a medium-stiff sole that provides good support. The boots have a field-tested, waterproof GORE-TEX MS Advanced recycled membrane. These boots were designed with extra space around the toes to not only provide excellent comfort, but to also give you more room to move your toes when wearing thick socks in cold weather. Despite being made from exceptionally durable, high-quality leather, they are surprisingly light (weighing approximately 690 grams per boot). They have a field-tested, waterproof GORE-TEX Ultimate membrane (which is stronger and more hardwearing than membranes of the past) and a medium-length 7 inch (18cm) shaft.
The boot’s upper is made from oiled, nubuck leather, and the soles are semi-stiff Vibram® Campus, which ensures good grip. They are reinforced with full-length rands made from an extra robust material, the stitching is reinforced. To prevent wear to the laces when attaching gaiters the boots also have a steel eye.

Pro Hunter Ridge GTX boots
The Pro Hunter Ridge GTX boots are an improved version of Härkila’s very hardest wearing hunting boots. These boots weigh approximately 770 grams per boot, despite their 11 inch (28 centimetre) long shaft and durable nubuck leather construction. Their height not only provides outstanding support on uneven terrain, but also protection when crossing rivers, ditches or even in swampland. The boots have a field-tested, waterproof GORE- TEX Ultimate membrane (which is stronger and more hardwearing than membranes of the past), and the stitching is reinforced. They are very comfortable with a standard width last and have a medium-stiff Vibram® Campus sole that provides good support and grip.
The boots are reinforced with full-length rands made from an extra robust material and they have a steel eye for attaching gaiters in order to prevent wear to the laces.

Driven Hunt GTX boots
The Driven Hunt GTX boots are an improved version of the Driven Hunt boots, and are among the warmest hunting boots in Härkila’s range. They are made from a robust and hardwearing, but supple, high-quality full-grain leather, and their waterproof GORE-TEX Duratherm Kelvin membrane with integral insulating layer, makes them an ideal choice when temperatures fall below freezing. The tall 12 inch (30.5 centimetre) shaft provides support and warmth, but also makes the boots suitable for use in deep snow and swampy areas. The boots have semi-stiff Vibram® Aftersky Ice Trek soles, which have been designed for grip on icy surfaces. There is a layer of extra robust material at the toe and heel where wear is typically greatest, and the stitching is also reinforced.
