The Härkila Driven Hunt HEAT Muff is a warm, lined muff that features Härkila’s HEAT technology which allows you to set the internal temperature to the level you want.
The Driven Hunt HEAT Muff allows you to keep your hands warm and comfortable whilst still being able to fire a crucial shot in an instant, something that can not always be easily achieved with thick gloves. The supplied removable belt makes it easy to clip the muff around your waist so it is always at hand, even when you are busy and on the move.
The outer fabric (84% polyester and 16% polyurethane) has been given a DWR treatment to make it dirt and water repellant. The inside has been insulated with 200g Thermo Poly ShieldTM Fill wadding and a thick, soft fleece fabric. The sewn-in HEAT membrane can be set to 38ºC, 46ºC, or 52ºC by pressing a button on the back of the muff. There is a zipped pocket on the back of the muff that can stow the powerbank of your choice (in here is also a waterproof USB plug to connect your powerbank to), and a second handy zipped pocket on the front for storing small items in.
The Driven Hunt HEAT Muff can be heated to 52ºC for approximately 7 hours at an outdoor ambient temperature of 0ºC with a powerbank of 10,000mAh. To save power the HEAT membrane automatically goes into standby once the muff has reached the set temperature. If the temperature falls below 1-2ºC of the set temperature then it will automatically tun itself back on.
