The GRS Hunter Light is the perfect stock for the hunter who wants a lighter, smaller version of the GRS laminate stock.
During the financial crisis of 2008 and the complete crash of the Norwegian furniture market Håvard and Oscar Haugen pivoted the company that their parents had set up in 1983 from making furniture to making rifle stocks. The brothers took their CNC machining expertise from making furniture and combined it with their field shooting experience and in March 2010 the first GRS stock was debuted. Quick and easy adjustability was built in to this very first stock to ensure that the rifle was safe and comfortable to use, and this has been a constant ever since.
The new GRS Hunter Light stock is 25% lighter than all the other GRS laminate models. It is also the shortest and slimmest stock in the GRS line thanks the 5% scaled-down grip and length of pull (the overall length of the stock is 71.5cm). The length of pull can be adjusted from 32.5cm to 34.5cm by adding the included 1cm spacers. The famous push-button cheekpiece adjustment and the ergonomic grip found on the other GRS stocks also comes as standard on the Hunter Light stock.
The Hunter Light is a good stock choice for younger shooters getting into the sport as it can be adjusted as they grow. It is also ideal for alpine hunters or other shooters looking for the lightest setup possible (the stock weights 2.3lb or 1050 grams).
The stock comes in 6 different colours: Black and Green, Brown, Nordic Mountain Camp, Nordic Wolf, Orange and Black, and Royal Jacaranda.
