Christensen Arms rifles are inspired by decades of experience with carbon fibre and other advanced aerospace materials, and now they are to be imported to the UK by Highland Outdoors.
Founded in Utah in 1995, with roots in the aerospace industry, Christensen Arms developed the first carbon fiber rifle barrel. This patented technology resulted in one of the most innovative advances in firearms within the last two and a half decades. With over 20 years of firearm experience focusing on using top-tier aerospace materials and processes, Christensen Arms manufacturers some of the most lightweight, precise, and accurate firearms in the industry and around the globe.
In 2022 Christensen Arms brought Flash Forged Technology (FFT) to the market. Flash Forged Technology employs an engineering approach to achieve the lightest possible structure while exceeding crucial strength and safety margins. Utilising an aerospace monocoque shell, Flash Forged Technology eliminates unnecessary internal weight. The result is an FFT-designed stock that is up to a full pound lighter than traditionally manufactured carbon fiber composite rifle stocks – creating a more consistent shooting foundation while reducing user fatigue in the field. FFT puts conservation at the forefront. It results in greater environmental sustainability as it was created to save energy and eliminate waste. Utilising automated processes and virgin recyclable materials, FFT is truly 100% zero-waste manufacturing. Trimmed composites are repurposed into new carbon fiber parts without producing harmful toxins or emissions. FFT is available on the Mesa and Ridgeline models.

Ranger 22
The Ranger 22 brings a rimfire rifle back to the Christensen Arms lineup. It is built for precision – the bolt-action platform features an aluminum receiver with a steel locking lug insert, Christensen Arms carbon fiber tension barrel, and a carbon fiber composite rimfire stock. This rifle is also well equipped with standard sling studs, a 0-MOA picatinny rail, and a match-grade Rem 700 style trigger. The Ranger 22 weighs in at 5.1 pounds and is backed by a Christensen Arms Sub-MOA at 50 Yards Guarantee.
Mesa
The Mesa is a premium lightweight hunting rifle offered at an accessible price. The rifle features a featherlight contour stainless steel barrel with a Cerakote® finish, “seamless” removable radial muzzle brake, and a sporter carbon fiber composite gunstock. The Mesa weight starts 6.5 pounds and is backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee. Select chamberings are available in a left-handed configuration.
Mesa FFT
The new Mesa FFT is a great solution for backcountry hunting. The FFT with sporter style stock weighs in at 5.5 pounds making it ideal on those long hikes up the mountain. The Mesa FFT has an ultralight contour stainless steel barrel with a Cerakote® finish, “seamless” removable radial muzzle brake, and is backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee. Select chamberings are available in a left-handed configuration.
Mesa Long Range
The Mesa Long Range was designed for dedicated precision shooters and long-range hunters. The sturdy and ergonomic platform relies on a medium palma contour steel barrel with a Cerakote® finish, an adjustable long-range carbon fiber composite gunstock, and it features a seamless removable side-baffle muzzle brake. The Mesa Long Range weight starts at 8.9 pounds and is backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee.
Modern Precision Rifle
The Modern Precision Rifle with Flash Forged Technology is an ultra-lightweight chassis rifle designed to break with tradition. Beyond the folding stock, the complete package is well equipped with a target contour Christensen Arms carbon fiber barrel, carbon fiber comb, free-floating carbon fiber FFT handguard, standard AR-style grip, and a 20-MOA rail. The action and stainless steel side-baffle muzzle brake are finished in Black Nitride for a sleek look. The weight of the Modern Precision Rifle starts at 6.9 pounds and is backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee.
Traverse
The Traverse elevates Christensen Arms’ backcountry rifle offerings with time-honoured styling and performance. The Monte-Carlo carbon fiber composite gunstock gives it a classic feel, while the light target contour carbon fiber wrapped barrel, stainless steel side-baffle brake, 0-MOA optic rail, and bottom picatinny rail ensure state-of-the-art operation. The weight of the Traverse starts at 7.3 pounds and is backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee.
Ridgeline
The Ridgeline is Christensen Arms’ quintessential hunting rifle. Offered in a variety of chamberings, the rifle features a sporter carbon fiber composite gunstock and a stainless steel radial muzzle brake built around a light target contour Christensen Arms carbon fiber wrapped barrel. Ridgeline FFT
