Bergara have launched four new centrefire bolt-action rifles for 2024.
Bergara are well-known for producing technically advanced barrels using state-of-the-art machinery and an unwavering commitment to quality, however in the past few years they have begun to branch out into producing a full line of precision rifles.
The four new rifles launched by Bergara for 2024 are all built on the B-14 action and come with a guarantee of sub-MOA accuracy. The B-14 action features a coned bolt nose and breech ensuring cartridges feed smoothly, and a sliding plate extractor for proper alignment. The barrels are also fully floated.
The four new rifles are the: Wilderness Sierra, Stoke, Extreme Sierra, and Extreme Hunter.
Wilderness Sierra
The Wilderness Sierra has been designed for those who like the traditional sporter style of the Bergara Ridge rifle but desire more adjustability. Its highlight is an adjustable comb which gives you the ability to set the ideal comb height for your shooting style and setup. This grip is slightly more vertical to ensure it is more comfortable when shouldering the rifle, and you can easily fine-tune the rifle’s length-of-pull with the included ¼” spacers. The Wilderness Sierra is Bergara’s first synthetic hunting stock that is also available for left-handed shooters.
The barrel is a Futed No. 5 Taper with a Sniper Grey Cerakoted finish. It is threaded (5/8-24″) and comes with an Omni Muzzle Brake. The magazine is a 5 round (7 in .223) detachable AICS-style (and is based on the standard Rem700 so it can be easily adapted to a floorplate should you wish). The weight of the rifle starts at 3.2kg (7lbs).
Calibres: .223 Rem., 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .270 Win., .7 PRC, 7mm Rem. Mag., .30-06 Springfield, .300 PRC, .308 Win., .300 Win Mag..
Price: £1,045.00
Stoke
Bergara are firm believers that proper fit equals better accuracy, to this end they produced the Stoke for smaller statured shooters – at 12.5″ the length-of-pull is one of the shortest in the bolt-action centrefire rifle market. The forend has been shortened by 2″ to reduce weight and the pistol grip has been optimised for smaller hands. The rifle has been tailored to provide the best fit possible, ensuring optimal performance and an unrivalled shooting experience.
When it comes to the barrel Bergara has again looked to keep the rifle compact and lightweight. The Stoke’s barrel has a profile of 17.5mm and is available in two lengths: 16.5″ and 20″. This all adds up to creating a great rifle for developing shooting skills or for management or varmint hunting. The magazine is a detachable AICS-style (being based on the standard Rem700 it is easily adapted to a floo plate should you wish). The weight of the rifle starts at 2.5kg (5lbs 8oz).

Extreme Sierra
The Extreme Sierra features the new Sierra stock that has an adjustable cheek piece and a grip that is slightly more vertical to provide more comfort when shouldering the rifle. It comes with additional ¼” spacers so you can alter the length-of-pull to suit your needs. The Extreme Sierra is light and easy to handle, making it ideal for close range shooting where speed, weight and agility are the most important features.
The action and barrel are made out of stainless steel and protected with a Graphite Black Cerakote® finish. The barrel is 18″ long with a profile of 17.5mm, and is available with or without open sights. The magazine is compatible with the AICS and M5 platforms (being based on the standard Rem700 it is easily adapted to a floorplate should you wish).
