Longthorne 'Viscount' Model 2010

The Longthorne ‘Viscount’ Model 2010 over-and-under shotgun is available in 12, 16, 20, and 28 bores, featuring a 3” chamber and proofing for High Performance Steel up to ½ choke with multi-chokes or Full with fixed chokes.

Sporting barrels come in sizes of 29″, 30″, 31″, or 32″, each equipped with a flat rib as standard and a front sight bead. The shotgun is fitted with flush-fit multi-choked barrels containing 5 chokes as standard, with an option for extended or fixed chokes at an additional cost.

Its action operates via a sideplated trigger plate action with an adjustable trigger, complemented by standard forend metalwork including an engraved underlever release catch. The ‘Viking’ offers forend shapes in slim game or tapered styles, alongside a standard trigger guard and an engraved top lever. Stocks feature a ‘satin’ finish and are available in left or right-handed orientations, conforming to standard size and measurements of 14.75″-15” length-of-pull, accompanied by a rubber recoil pad.

Optional customisations include an adjustable comb, custom gun fits, large or small ‘Griptek’ stocks, wooden recoil pads, and checkered heels. Further cost options include ramped trap-style barrels, fixed chokes, lightweight game barrels, and titanium barrels. The ‘Viking’ Model 2008 is supplied in an ABS leather-trimmed case, ensuring secure storage and transportation.

Similar to all Longthorne models, the ‘Viscount’ Model 2010 is entirely English-made at their Northampton factory. It features patented barrel technology crafted from a single piece of steel without soldered joints, proofed for High-Performance steel, promising low recoil, reduced muzzle flip, and an ultra-low profile action.
