AYA’s Nº 2 shotgun stands as an emblem of affordable modern sidelocks, exuding timeless English design.

Originating in the 1950s, this round-bodied side-by-side mirrors the essence of a premier London game gun. Mechanically aligned with AYA’s flagship Nº 1 variant, it draws inspiration from the tried-and-true Holland & Holland system.

Weighing in at around 6¾ pounds, the Nº 2 showcases standard walnut and graceful scroll engraving. Its double-trigger sidelock configuration arrives with fixed-choke 28-inch chopper lump barrels as the standard choice, although alternative lengths can be specified.

The Nº 2’de Luxe’ variant features exhibition-grade walnut, a richer oil finish, and striking foliate scroll engraving, meticulously crafted through a blend of laser precision and hand finishing.

The Nº 2 has been meticulously tailored to resonate with British preferences, offering a compelling option in comparison to its London-made counterparts.

Noteworthy features encompass a hammerless sidelock mechanism with a forged steel action, incorporating a double locking mechanism and gas vents. Safety sears, crafted from hardened steel, ensure dependable performance, while gold-lined cocking indicators add a touch of refinement.

The Nº 2 boasts a concave rib, complemented by a straight hand, finely checkered, oil-finished walnut stock of grade 2 wood. Adorned with scroll engraving, it features an initial oval for a personalised touch. An automatic safety mechanism underscores responsible firearm handling.
