FAIR Carrera Pro Sporting
The FAIR Carrera Pro Sporting is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, born out of extensive research and field testing in elite-level competitions. This shotgun marries aesthetic appeal with outstanding performance. Its barrels, undergo a thorough sandblasting process that culminates in an anti-flare finishing.
One of its distinctive features is the incorporation of the X-CONES® system in the barrels, which effectively mitigates recoil, enhancing the shooter’s experience. The stocks and fore-ends, fashioned from carefully selected walnut, boast fine-pitch laser checkering, providing a secure grip and a touch of classic elegance.
Equipped with a fibre optic sight featuring three interchangeable inserts in various colours, the Carrera Pro Sporting caters to individual preferences. The XR-TRIGGER® stands as a hallmark of innovation, offering an adjustable length of over 14 mm. With a magnum chamber of 76mm (3 inches) and TECHNICHOKE® SPORTING XP70 multi-chokes at 70mm (2 3⁄4 inches), this shotgun exemplifies versatility.
In line with FAIR’s commitment to robustness, the action bodies, trigger plates, iron fore-ends, and barrel extractors are meticulously milled from forged steel ingots, eschewing alloy receivers for steel components. The slender-profiled action body, housing internal batteries with a double safety notch, ensures secure and reliable operation. A single oversize block, measuring 30.50 mm, rests on double lugs, adding to the shotgun’s stability. The barrels, precision-crafted from a special three-alloyed steel, are machined from bored bars, featuring an internally chromed bore and chambers, thereby enhancing longevity, corrosion resistance, and shot pattern dispersion.
For left-handed enthusiasts, a dedicated version is available at an additional cost. Notably, this model is steel shot proofed, attesting to its durability and suitability for a wide range of shooting pursuits.
