FAIR Jubilee 902
The FAIR Jubilee 902 stands as a pinnacle of craftsmanship and refinement within the range of luxury over-and-under shotguns. Each piece is meticulously crafted by master gunsmiths, a testament to the pride and dedication of the company.
Available in 12, 16, 20, 28, and .410 gauges, each gun features an action tailored to its specific calibre, with the exception of the 410 gauge, which shares its action with the 28 gauge. Clients have the option to request customised finishing, highlighting the individuality of each firearm. The shotgun boasts selected English walnut stocks, finely pitched checkering, a polished oil finish, and an elongated trigger guard for a graceful aesthetic. Hand-finished laser engravings further accentuate the gun’s allure.
The Jubilee 902 model distinguishes itself with long-profile side plates, free from any visible screws. This design provides an expansive canvas for intricate engravings, ranging from traditional hunting scenes to artistically decorative features of striking impact. As with all Jubilee versions, the frame exhibits a protruding profile and interchangeable convex hinge pins. The gun is delivered in an elegant ABS case, adding to its overall appeal.
The construction of these shotguns adheres to the preferences of discerning customers. Action bodies, trigger plates, iron fore-ends, and barrel extractors are precision-milled from forged steel ingots, eschewing alloy receivers for robust steel components. The action body maintains a slender profile, concealing internal batteries, each equipped with a double safety notch for secure operation.
An oversize block, measuring 30.50 mm for 12 bore models, rests on double lugs, ensuring the shotgun’s steadfastness. The barrels, forged from a special three-alloyed steel, are meticulously machined from bored bars. Internal chroming of the bore and chambers significantly augments longevity, bolsters corrosion resistance, and optimises shot pattern distribution.
While a single trigger configuration stands as standard, the option for double triggers can be accommodated, ensuring a personalised shooting experience. For left-handed shooters, a dedicated version is available, albeit at an additional cost. Notably, only 12 and 20 bore models carry the distinction of being steel shot proofed.
