The Beretta 486 Parallelo DS side-by-side shotgun has been restyled and now features deep relief scroll engraving which has been created using the latest 5-axis laser technology. The beautifully proportioned round body receiver has a deep scroll floral motif which gives a fresh yet elegant look to this classic shotgun.
The type of highly figured, contrast effect engraving now found on the 486 Parallelo typically characterises premium shotguns within the beretta range. With the deep scroll motif extended to the receiver shoulders, top lever, trigger guard, forend iron and forend tip, the action of this gun is completely captivating.
The restyled 486 still benefits from the same technological features previously found on this model, which include: Beretta’s exclusive Triblock system, with its modified demi block design, allows for a seamless barrel profile in the best English tradition; a single trigger and V spring mechanism ensure fast, crisp pulls; and Beretta’s renowned Steelium barrels with their excellent ballistics. When combining all of these features you have the most modern and reliable side-by-side shotgun.
The stock is 2.5 grade walnut stock (available in either traditional straight hand or pistol grip configurations) and has been carefully selected in terms of colour, density, and grain, to give impeccable aesthetics. The wooden butt pad is also carefully matched to the stock for a flawless finish.
All Parabello shotguns are superior steel shot proofed and come in either 12 bore or 20 bore with either 28 inch or 30 inch O/C.HP barrels. The balance of the gun has been taken into consideration by precisely distributing the weight of all components, the result is a gun which is easy to handle, and swings beautifully while shooting.
