This fabric is produced by Fortis in Devon and used by specialists globally.
The new Fortis Gaiters have been designed and developed after receiving feedback from customers. Fortis have set about making this version the best gaiters on the market and they now believe they have accomplished this.
Fortis have kept the same Cordura material used on the previous version as customers said it was such a strong, tough fabric that was also comfortable, however the design of the gaiters have had a number of improvements made. At the rear of the gaiter there is a large, fully adjustable Velcro fastening with three buckles attached with elastic hidden beneath it. This allows you to adjust the gaiters to suit the shape of your leg and the boots that you are wearing. There is an adjustable Paracord drawstring at the top of the gaiter to ensure that you can get a snug fit to your calf and a second elasticated drawstring halfway down to keep the gaiter tight across the top of the boot whilst you are walking or working. There is a strap that loops underneath the sole of your boot to further keep the gaiters in position. This strap is secured to the gaiter with Velcro so it can be easily replaced if it becomes damaged.
The Fortis Gaiters come in four sizes: Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, however Fortis can also custom make you a pair based around your sizing requirements.
